When A Little Princess Gets Bigger
Nicki and I have had so much fun seeing all of the adorable Princess pictures that have been sent in to us. Each one makes us so happy. Thank you for sharing them with us. Our whole goal in setting up the blog and then writing our book was in order to create a community of parents raising real life Practically Perfect Princesses and Princes.
Today I received an email from a mother who sent me a picture of her beautiful 10 year old daughter. I strongly believe that ALL girls are Princesses and that knowing and being taught that they are of infinite worth to those around them and the world is so very important. I have watched my little Princess grow up, she is on the brink of "tweenhood" and I know that every minute I have and still continue to spend re-enforcing her value as a Princess has been time well spent. Although growing up is not easy she knows that she is special and that there is a purpose for her here on this earth that only she can fill. She just needs to learn and grow and expand her wings and find out how she can fulfill that purpose. This same message applies to the little Princes in our lives.
I have said it before and will continue to say it forever, Long Live Princesses and Princes everywhere!
