Today I created magic, not the sort that would help me fly to far away lands or the kind of magic that can vanquish the villain.
This kind of magic occurs only when you use your imagination.
My 6 year old daughter and I created a fairy garden.
Creating A Fairy Garden
*Use what you have on hand and let your child be the designer. Perfection is overrated.
Most everything we used was already in our craft arsenal picked up from the bargain tubs at either Micheal's or the Dollar Store. We used a long/rectangular flower pot we already had to house the garden.
As Spring makes it's debut I hope you take the time to create a little magic as well.

I found some darling ways to re-purpose these tutus into adorable new creations that my girls would love. Check it out!
All of them are no sew and don't require much more effort than a few minutes, but are surefire Princess pleasers. Love them!
|Compiled by Queen Mom Jen|
Ankle tutus - Measure ankles and cut a piece of elastic to fit around the ankle with a little extra at the ends in order to tie off. Tie pieces of tulle on until the whole strip of elastic is covered. Tie ends off and slip onto foot. Voila!
Tutu hair ties- Tie pieces of tulle onto a hair tie. Simple right!
Tutu bedside table- Re purpose an old kitchen stool and tutu. Slip the tutu on the stool and secure with double sided tape.

Now don't get nervous by the title of this post because I'm not leaving my Princess roots. I have been blogging for over 5 years. Wow! I have gathered such great friends and supporters that I couldn't imagine my life without all of you. You each came because my sister and I wrote about a little Princess and then you stayed. Double Wow! We still have plans for our little Practically Perfect Princess so don't worry on that front as well.
I love Princesses and think there is such importance in making sure all girls know how special they are and that they are one, but there are so many other stories I would like to cover that don't really fit in here so I'm just adding a new facet to the Queen Mommy Jennifer you already know.
Please come and visit me at my soon to be 2nd home JENerally Informed and I will still be here bringing you the Princess.

It's been a while since I have posted and I miss all of you! The last month has exhausted this Queen Mommies family for sure. Even my Princesses have found themselves worn out!
Isn't she too cute?
We are heading into one of my favorite holidays Valentine's Day and I wanted to share some of these adorable crafts I found perfect for any little Princess to make for friends, herself or for a teacher.
